Initial Hospitalization and Treatment Upon arrival, Salim Khan was first treated in the casualty ward. Doctors quickly administered medication and identified the need for intensive care monitoring due to his condition. Key details from his initial assessment include:

• Ventilator Support: Placed on a ventilator as a precautionary measure, which doctors clarified was preventive and not indicative of a critical state.
• Shift to ICU: Moved to the Intensive Care Unit for close observation and further investigations.
Successful DSA Procedure Performed On February 18, a Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) procedure was successfully performed by a neurosurgeon. This minor procedure was crucial for his treatment.
Addressing the media, the attending doctor confirmed the success of the procedure, stating, “We needed to carry out investigations, and today we performed a minor procedure. The procedure performed was a DSA by a neurosurgeon and has been accomplished successfully. He is fine and stable and has been shifted to the ICU.” The doctor also reassured that he would be taken off the ventilator soon, highlighting his improving condition despite his age.
Minor Brain Hemorrhage Managed Providing further clarity, the doctor explained in Hindi that Salim Khan arrived fully conscious. “Thoda sa brain haemorrhage hua tha, jise humne tackle kar diya. Uske liye kisi surgery ki zarurat nahi hai,” he stated, confirming a minor brain hemorrhage was managed without the need for surgery. Hospital authorities continue to confirm that Salim Khan remains stable in the ICU and is under close observation, ensuring a steady recovery.
