The complaint, filed on February 10, accuses Talpade and his associates of defrauding a resident of Mohalla Mishrana in Bhogaon of lakhs of rupees. The alleged scam involved promoting an investment scheme with promises of exceptionally high profits.

This society allegedly leveraged the names and images of various film personalities, including Talpade, in its promotional activities to attract investments.
