The third episode of Rise and Fall Season 2 saw a dramatic turn of events as contestant Siwet Tomar was eliminated following a physical altercation with fellow participant Shehzad Poonawalla. The incident, a clear violation of the show's rules, led to Siwet's immediate removal from the Tower, sending shockwaves through the competition.
Tensions Mount in the Tower
The episode began with strategic discussions among contestants in the Basement and Rulers in the Penthouse. The introduction of the Ultimate Ruler race added another layer of intensity, granting the winner significant decision-making power and immunity. However, underlying tensions quickly surfaced.
Before the Ultimate Ruler race, Rulers were tasked with identifying the weakest decision-maker. Siwet Tomar's name frequently came up, highlighting a strained dynamic, particularly with Shehzad Poonawalla. Their relationship, initially intended as an alliance, had deteriorated, leading to a heated verbal exchange.
• Siwet confronted Shehzad, accusing him of being a 'fattu aadmi' (cowardly person) and questioning his integrity.
• Siwet was ultimately chosen as the weakest decision-maker, making him ineligible for the Ultimate Ruler race.
• He, in turn, named Shehzad as the weakest, escalating their rivalry further.
The Confrontation Turns Physical
The friction between Siwet and Shehzad reached its peak later in the episode. Shehzad questioned Siwet's renewed interaction with Swara Bhasker, despite Siwet's previous vow not to speak to her. This query sparked another intense argument that quickly spiraled out of control. The verbal confrontation escalated into a physical fight when Siwet grabbed Shehzad by the neck and pushed him down, leaving Shehzad injured and his clothes torn.
Disciplinary Action and Protest
Given the strict rules against physical violence in the Tower, Siwet Tomar was immediately removed from Rise and Fall Season 2. This decision, however, did not sit well with some contestants.
• Swara Bhasker and Karan Patel strongly argued that Shehzad's provocations also contributed to the incident.
• In a powerful act of protest against the decision, both Swara and Karan chose to walk out of the Tower alongside Siwet, adding another layer of drama to the show.
By the episode's end, the Penthouse housed Tej Pratap Yadav, Shehzad, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Irina Rudakova, and Raj. Meanwhile, Niharika Tiwari, Kaira Anu, Anish Bhagat, Sara Gurpal, Manish Kashyap, Gautam Gulati, and Kajal Raghwani remained in the Basement.
Produced by Banijay Asia and hosted by cricket legend Virender Sehwag, Rise and Fall Season 2 is available for streaming free on Prime Video, promising continued high-stakes drama and unexpected twists.
