Pen Marudhar has acquired the all-India distribution rights for Gunmaaster G9 for a substantial sum exceeding Rs. 35 crores. The distribution giant is banking on the film's potential, especially given the success of Awarapan 2, another Emraan Hashmi-starrer distributed by Pen Marudhar.

However, its immense popularity on OTT and satellite platforms later garnered a significant following among Hindi-speaking audiences.
