A viral video from the concert captured the dramatic sequence of events. It showed Diljit Dosanjh in his characteristic energetic performance when he suddenly noticed a man with a Khalistan flag dangerously close to him on stage. The celebrated singer immediately paused his performance and stepped away. Within moments, security personnel swiftly intervened, apprehending the individual and escorting him from the venue. Subsequent online videos also depicted local police officers detaining the man, who was reportedly arrested following his removal.
Previous Incidents and Diljit's Firm Stance
This is not an isolated incident for the global Punjabi superstar. During his Aura 2026 tour in Canada earlier in April, a similar situation unfolded when a group of supporters allegedly entered the concert venue, displaying separatist flags and chanting pro-Khalistan slogans before being removed by security staff.
Following the Canada incident, Diljit Dosanjh had previously addressed the issue with a strongly worded message on Instagram Stories, written in Punjabi. He emphasized, “Standing outside and protesting anyone can do that. But if you try to come inside and harass my fans, that will not be tolerated.” He further clarified his perspective on flags and banners: “If someone brings a banner or a flag, it usually means they want to show where they've come from and that they support me. But if you're standing outside with the same banner abusing my fans, and then try to come inside and do the same thing, that will not be tolerated.”

The singer has consistently made his position crystal clear, stating, “This is not about any banner or flag. The real issue is your intention behind it.” He affirmed his directives to security, adding, “I told security that anyone trying to disrupt the program should be picked up and thrown out. I never said anything against any banner, so don't spread fake narratives. I've been avoiding this issue since last year but not anymore. Thank you.
